Camping Reservations at Camp Mekokiko
What facilities are available?
Currently there are four tent sites as pictured above and a common hot-water bath house available for rent. The lodge is available for small groups by day (24 max) , and over night use (14 max). In November, 2011, the first two one-bedroom cottages should also be available. (See descriptions of these facilities below.)
Who can make a reservation?
Camp Mekokiko is available only to not-for-profit, educational, civic, community and government groups and their members.

3) A confirmation will be returned with registration forms, policy information, and an invoice for your deposit and minimum rental.
Facility Descriptions
LODGE
The lodge is located on the front 4-5 acres of the camp ground which is fenced and gated. Thus acreage includes a botanical trail, an orchard with 40 plus varieties of fruit trees, and a playing field. The lodge, pictured above, is a two story 1750 sq ft building with 370 sq ft of a well equipped kitchen,* handicapped bathroom, and a 256 sq ft detached his and hers bathroom and shower house and laundry room.
It is an ideal rental for small day retreats, youth sleepovers and small adult overnight retreats. Day retreats are limited to 24 participants at this time, and overnights to 14. The lodge is equipped with Swedish cots, blankets, pillows and pillowcases. Children under the age of 6 are free.
The property is gated, secure, safe and staffed during your rental.

DAY (6am check-in, 6pm check-out)
$125 flat fee plus $5 per person
OVER NIGHT (1pm check-in, 11am check-out; earlier check-in additional fee)
$200 flat fee plus $10 per person
*The kitchen has a large double door refrigerator, a 6 burner commercial gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, juicers, blender, toaster, crock-pot, a full assortment of pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc.
There is one phone available for outgoing local calls. Messages will be taken for groups by the Camp director. There is no incoming phone line available to groups. There is wireless internet access in the lodge.
TENT SITES
There are four tent sites, each with a 20 x 20 foot roof, to keep rain off your tent! There is a 30 x 30 foot pavilion that serves the four sites with two handicapped bathrooms and hot showers. The pavilion has a covered patio, picnic tables and a common sink for food preparation. There are cinder block bar-b-ques at each tent site for cooking. The site is ideal for youth retreats or small groups. There is no electricity at the site; campers need their own lights, lanterns, tents, ice, sleeping-bags, and so forth. We do rent tents for $2 per day.

OVER NIGHT ONLY (1pm check-in, 11am check-out)
$15 per person, 4 person minimum per group, based on a minimum of 2 persons per tent-site, and a maximum of 4 persons per tent-site.
You may rent a 4 person tent for $2 per day.
NOTES
A deposit of $50 per day or $125 per stay, which ever is greater, is required to hold a reservation. You will be invoiced for your stay based on your reservation information. Payment must be received with the return of registration materials.
Our Special Use Permit does not allow access to the Camp by bus. Visitors must arrive by van or car.
